Bunnies & Drinks
on thursday june2 our bunnies, well, only one of them, named Digger licked my finger when i was pressing down on the water bottle Digger licked me i felt his little pink tongue it was very soft & cute. Meg & Jess =D
Megan (just turned 8) typed that in all by her self... well, almost. Twice she asked me to type in a phrase for her--she got kinda frusturated, since she doesn't know how to type, and it was taking her a little while to type it in letter by letter. =D BTW--this was her first post, so she's kinda excited about it.

Angela's "Air-Freshner"
Angela has a pack of Big Red gum she's had in one of her school drawers for a while. Just now, she took out her pencil, & happened to notice it smelled like Big Red! It reminded her of those air-freshner things for the car. You know, those (usually) tree-shaped pieces of colored cardboard on a stretchy cord that you hang on one of the hanger hooks in your car to keep the car from getting smelly... smelly in a bad way, anyway. =D

Terrible Tragedy
Earlier, while I was cooking dinner, Karissa (10 1/2) was watching Angela sew her (Angela's) culottes in another part of the house. Now, before you read about what happens, you have to understand--Angela is (or, rather, used to be) a TERRIBLE sewer!!! She could hardly sew in a straight line for an inch, and whenever she tried to sew a seam, it was SOOOO crooked, that we had to take them out--and have someone ELSE do it. (By the way, I'm not being mean. If you ask her, she'll admit it. I think. You never know, right? =D) She had improved greatly, though--she actually sewed an almmost perfect straight line down the side seam of her culottes, roughly 33 inches! Besides already being not the *ahem* best of sewers (lol), she freaks out, as in, she goes extremely slow, and, for example, if she even THINKS the sewing machine makes a noise that it wasn't a second ago (even if we tell her it's just fine) she gets even MORE nervous (she's nervous to begin with) and, well, sort-of freaks out. At least she keeps sewing, though! Anyway, yah.
As I said, Karissa was watching Angela sew while I was cooking dinner. Karissa came over to me and told me this story: Angela was sewing along, minding her own business... sew, sew, sew... (at Ang: =P) Anyway, Karissa saw that the thread was a little crooked in one spot (just a little--no big deal. No sarcasm intended) and so, being the nice, kind, good little sister that she was, Karissa exclaimed, "*gasp* Angela, you totally messed it up!!!" Of course, Ang got all nervously freaked, and squeaked "What? Where? What did I DO?!" Of course, Karissa then told her that "Oh, Ang, I was just joking." Not before laughing, though!

Silly Sister!
Just now, there was something on my forehead. My little sister, Megan, age 6 (almost 7), saw it, and said, all serious-like, "Jessie, there's something on your brain."
Jess
P.S. She did correct herself after I started laughing, though. She did that all serious-like too, as if saying "brain" instead of "forehead" is a common mistake. =D
